How does VelocityEHS assign a regulatory format to my SDSs?

VelocityEHS determines the regulatory format of each Safety Data Sheet (SDS) during indexing by evaluating the content of the document and identifying elements that align with specific regulatory standards.

Why Some Formats May Be Unclear

In some cases, it may be difficult to determine a single regulatory format:

• SDSs are not always required to state which regulations they follow
• Some documents include elements from multiple regulatory standards (for example, GHS+)
• SDSs are created by manufacturers across different countries and regions

Because of this, the assigned regulatory format reflects the best determination based on the information available in the document.
