Reconciliations are available for SDS Management and Chemical Management accounts only.
The Reconciliations feature in your Chemical Management account gives you the ability to verify the accuracy of the information in your account with the physical containers or products you have in your locations.
Note that you must have created at least one location in your account in order to have access to Reconciliations.
Account Administrators, Administrators, and Managers can create both Container and Product Reconciliations worksheets from the Reconciliations option in the Global Navigation Menu.

Container Reconciliation
The Container Reconciliation feature is:
- An easy way to see all containers you’ve created for a location or multiple locations in one place and make adjustments on the fly.
- An online “checklist” that allows you to do an audit of containers to ensure the physical containers in a location match the containers in their Chemical Management account.
- Typically done prior to regulatory reporting (for example, Tier II) to make sure account information is accurate and up-to-date.
- The only place to print barcodes for multiple products across multiple locations (versus printing for only one product at a time).
- The only place to search for containers is by ID, barcode, or container name.
For details on using the Container Reconciliation feature see Container Reconciliation.
Product Reconciliation
The Product Reconciliation feature can be used if you have not created containers in your account or at a location(s). Product Reconciliations are:
- A way to ensure that all the hazardous products being used at a specific location have an associated safety data sheet in your Chemical Management eBinder
- A list of all the products currently assigned to a location or locations in your account. You can then compare this list to the physical products and verify each one has a safety data sheet in the eBinder.
- A history of each “audit” as well as who completed it.
For details on using the Product Reconciliation feature see Product Reconciliation.
