Prepare the System

Before Company Administrators and workforce members can be connected to multiple contracting companies, make sure the required settings are in place

Enable the Multi-Company Feature

1. Navigate to Global Administration > Kiosk Setting
2. Select Enable Multi-Company Feature, then save the setting.

Make Email Mandatory

1. Navigate to System Administration > Site Management > Configure Contractor Portal Settings
2. Enable Is email mandatory when adding workforce? Email must be required because the system uses the exact email address to recognize the same workforce member across companies.

Review the Account-Creation Setting

1. In Course Manager Group Administration, review Create Accounts when adding workforce.
2. When this setting is enabled, adding a new workforce member with an email also creates a matching portal user account and assigns applicable default course access. When it is disabled, adding workforce does not create a portal user account.
