The SARA 313 Form R Worksheet is only available for SDS Management and Chemical Management accounts.
The information in this article is specific to the SARA 313 Form R Worksheet. If you need information on reports in general see Reports Overview.
The SARA 313 Form R Worksheet lists products and ingredients in your account that match with those listed in the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) regulation and includes the 313 Category Name and 313 Category Number.
This information can be used to facilitate filling out the TRI reporting forms.
In order to use this report as intended, we recommend indexing ingredients and create containers for your products See Ingredient Indexing and Creating and Managing Containers for more information. If you’ve indexed ingredients and created containers the worksheet will contain information about the amount of a product or ingredient you had on site. Note that if you have not indexed ingredients and/or containers then
this report will be blank.
The ingredient quantity is calculated by multiplying the total container weight by the ingredient’s % by weight. If the % by weight is a range, the system uses the higher end of the range to calculate the quantity. If the % by weight is not entered when indexing the ingredients then the quantities cannot be calculated.
The average daily amount is calculated by taking the total amount that was on site during the selected date range and averaging that amount out over the span of the selected date range. The totals for each day are added together and divided by the number of days within the range.
The maximum amount on site is the maximum amount that was present on site on any given day during the selected date range.
Weight range codes are also included, based upon the maximum amount on site.
Select Products
If you select All Products, your worksheet may include products for which you have not created containers. In this situation, quantity information will be blank.
If you select Product Assigned to Location(s), by default, all locations are selected. To choose specific locations, click the Select Locations button.
If you have created reporting groups, you can select Products by Reporting Group which allows you to select a reporting group from the drop-down menu. If you have not created reporting groups this option will be grayed out. See Creating Reporting Groups for more information.
Select Date Range
The report must be run for a specific date range and will capture the quantities of products that have or had full containers in your account during that range.
Click in the field to bring up a calendar. Use the calendar to select the date.
Select Report Columns
Once you’ve selected which products to include on the report, choose the data that you would like to appear in the report columns for each ingredient or product.
