System Requirements [Chemical Management]

Below are the system requirements for using Chemical Management, Chemical Management Desktop Application (Backup), and the SDS/Chemical Management Mobile Application. If you’re unsure if your computer is compatible, please check with your IT staff to ensure that your computer is equipped with the appropriate tools.

Note: While Internet Explorer (including IE11) may still work as a web browser, it is no longer supported due to security and functionality concerns. Anyone using Internet Explorer will not be able to take advantage of all the benefits offered by VelocityEHS. Click here for more information.

Chemical Management Desktop Application (Backup)

• Microsoft Windows 8.1 or higher. If you are using an Apple/Mac computer it will need to be able to run Windows 8.1 or higher in order for the Desktop Application to function
• Adobe® Reader® DC (Version 2015+) is recommended, but alternate PDF viewers are supported.

SDS/Chemical Management Mobile App 

The SDS/Chemical Management Mobile App is available for SDS Management and Chemical Management accounts only. 

Supported Operating Systems

• iOS 9 and later
• Android 4.4 and later

We do not support beta versions of these operating systems.
