Which Canadian responsible party needs to be listed on the label and SDS for an imported product?

As defined in subsection 1(1) of the HPR, “initial supplier identifier” means the name, address and telephone number of:
(a) the manufacturer; or
(b) the importer of the hazardous product who operates in Canada.

Therefore, the name, address and telephone number that are provided on the label and SDS of a hazardous product must be the contact information of the Canadian supplier who is selling or importing the hazardous product in Canada.
