Completing a corrective action

Completing a corrective action allows you to:

• Tackle risks and concerns identified in the organization
• Conduct our due diligence by addressing problems
• Reduce the potential for the same problem to occur again through continuous improvement

The responsible person or a delegate must close the corrective actions they have been assigned before the due date.

To complete a corrective action:

1. Click the corrective action link from your task list to open the action or use the hyperlink in the email notification sent when the action was assigned to you.
2. Include all relevant information about the corrective action to ensure it is as detailed as possible. Use the Progress Notes to document what has been accomplished to date.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the Close Action button to complete the Corrective Action. If the Corrective Action is not yet complete, select Save.
   
   

Now that you’ve performed your due diligence on the Corrective Action, there will be an information trail confirming the completion date, and it will be officially closed!
