Entering Metrics Data

Entering metrics data allows you to:

• Add new data needed to monitor performance at a location
• Update required and optional data for a location
• Document the source of each data point for a specified time period

Metrics data can be entered for a specified location as often as required, by any user with the appropriate permissions.

To enter metrics data:

1. Select Enter Data from the Add New menu.
   
   
2. The first time you navigate to this page, you will need to specify your location and the time period for which you want to enter data. If you know which metric you’d like to enter data for, select it as a filter. The next time you navigate to this page, the application will remember these selections.
   
   
3. Enter your metrics data, including the units of measure. Identify your data source and, if necessary, select the double arrows to provide additional information. Click the Save icon.
   
   

Now that you have added metrics data, your entries will be incorporated with additional data for analysis and trending.
