Risk Verification via the Mobile App
Mobile App Overview
In addition to using the Operational Risk web application for risk verification activities, you can use the Operational Risk mobile app. The app is available for the latest two versions of both iOS and Android.
Note
To download the Operational Risk mobile app, search for “Accelerate Operational Risk” in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
While all risk verification setup (base controls, performance standards, verification templates) must first be completed in the web application, the app enables users to complete assigned Verifications and Action Items anywhere, including remote, hazardous, or offline environments. Mobile verifications ensure that work can continue uninterrupted, regardless of connectivity, with data syncing automatically once a connection is restored.
Note
You'll need to be connected to the internet to see the most up-to-date list of activities assigned to you.
Here are a few navigation hints to get you started:
- Tap the menu icon (top left) to see the following options:
- Home displays the default start page, showing current verification activities on the Verification tab
- History lists sync results and any conflicts associated with verification records, along with date and time of each transaction
- Settings includes user information, preferences, and privacy data, and provides a Logout option
- Help Center links directly to the VelocityEHS Help Center
- Tap the Filter icon (top right) to filter verification activities or action items you’re currently viewing by their status.
- Tap the Verifications tab to perform a verification activity assigned to you.
- Tap the Actions tab to update an action item assigned to you, including progress notes and attachments.
