Performing an incident search

Performing an incident search allows you to:

• Report specific pieces of information pertaining to incidents and identify what data you are interested in
• Focus only on a subset of incidents that have been reported
• Perform additional analyses to uncover trends and key learnings from the data

Everyone with access to incident information can perform an incident search and export their results.

To perform an incident search:

1. Select Incident Search from the Monitor main menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Select data filters to narrow down the subset of incidents and output columns for which you want to see corresponding data.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Search button to initiate the search, and don’t forget to export and save your search if you wish.
   
   

   

Now that you’ve completed your incident search, you can perform analytics within the exported version and easily recreate your search filters and parameters the next time you need to!
