Welcome to our guide on the inspection checklists provided by VelocityEHS, accessible within the EHS V5 platform when the Audit and Inspections module is enabled. Upon activation, all checklists will be added to the top of the location tree in draft status. This allows for a comprehensive review and editing process before publishing, ensuring the content aligns with your organization’s specific requirements and making it readily available to your users.
Location Tree Designation
Each checklist is initially associated with your Level 1 location (Corporate level) for accessibility across all locations within the platform upon publishing. However, you can edit the locations to ensure the checklists are tailored to the right audience.
Checklist Customization
We strongly recommend a thorough review and customization of each checklist before publishing. This includes refining terminology, revising help text, and adjusting questions to match your organizational needs.
All questions are initially uploaded as a positive/negative/neutral answer type, offering a foundational structure. Before publishing, you have the option to convert some questions to a text answer type for greater specificity. If there are checklists that don’t apply to your organization, you can delete them.
Do you want to reactivate a previously deleted checklist?
Select Admin > Audit > Recycle Bin from the navigation bar, and then select the circular arrows to the right of the checklist’s name to reactivate it.
