Creating an Internal Policy

Creating an internal policy allows you to:

• Track the organizational policies that have an impact on Environment, Health and Safety
• Schedule and monitor tasks and activities required by the policy
• Provide reference material to those who want to learn more about the policy

Environmental, health and safety professionals most often create and manage internal policies.

To create an internal policy:

1. Select Internal Policy from the Add New menu.
   
   
2. Include all relevant information, including the appropriate types, and then select Save.
   
   
3. Add actions or attachments as necessary, and then select the Submit button.
   
   

Now that you’ve created an internal policy, your job is done! Corrective actions will be assigned and completed as necessary, and notifications will go out to remind you when the associated action is coming due.
