Creating a Permit

Creating a permit allows you to:

• Track the permits that must be maintained to operate
• Schedule and monitor tasks and activities required by the permit
• Automate reminders of approaching permit expiration

Environmental professionals often create and manage permits; however, in some cases, safety and health professionals do as well.

To create a permit:

1. Select Permit from the Add New menu.
   
   
2. Include all relevant information, including the appropriate Permit expiration date, and select Save.
   
   
3. Add actions or attachments as necessary and select Submit.
   
   

Now that you’ve created a permit, your job is done! Corrective actions will be assigned and completed as necessary, and notifications will go out to remind you when the permit is coming due.
