Creating an Ad Hoc Verification Activity

This article describes how to create an ad hoc verification using the web application.

Prior to creating an ad hoc verification activity, the following must be established and assigned to the location:

• • Base control
  • Performance standard
  • Verification template

To create an ad hoc verification activity in the web application, follow these steps:

1. From the main menu, select Control Verifications > (Setup) Control Verification Templates.
2. Find the template you want to use and select the ellipsis (…) icon > Create Ad hoc Control Verifications Now.
   
3. Wait for the confirmation message, and then select Control Verifications > (Activities) Control Verifications from the main menu.
4. Find the verification record just created and select the ellipsis icon > Perform Control Verification.
   
5. In the message box, select Perform Verification to initiate the process. For the next steps, see Performing Verification Activities.
