Creating a New User

Creating a new user allows you to:

• Provide system access to the people who need it
• Ensure system responsibilities can be assigned to appropriate individuals

New users are typically created as new employees join or additional people need access to the system.

To create a new user:

1. Select Create User from the Admin menu.
   
   
2. Include all relevant information about the new user. It is important to include an email address so that the system can send notifications when necessary and generate a random password for the user if needed.
   
   
3. If you plan on creating another new user, click Save and New. If you have finished creating new users, select Save and Exit.
   
   

Now that you’ve added a user, they can log in to access the system and you can assign a user role if necessary!
