User Roles
Manager Role

If you access your VelocityEHS solutions via the Accelerate Platform, Training and Learning user roles and permissions are established and managed in Accelerate Admin Settings > Role Management. See Accelerate Roles and Permissions for more information.
Users with the Manager role can manage a variety of tasks associated with their direct reports:
- Enroll users that report to them in courses and classes: see Enrolling Learners in Courses, Classes, and Programs
- Approve requests for enrollment: see Approving Enrollment Requests
- Enroll themselves in courses or classes: see How to Find and Enroll in a Course, Class, or Program
- Run reports on training data: see Running Reports
- View transcripts: see Viewing and Editing Transcripts
In order for a manager to enroll a user in a class or course, view their transcript, or manage a user’s enrollment requests, the manager must have a Manager role in the Training & Learning account and be set up in the system as that user’s Manager.
