Using iSpring Presenter to Create and Add a SCORM Course

As an Administrator, you can add your own SCORM format courses to Training & Learning. You can use any authoring tool you wish to create your courses, as long as the file you’re uploading is in SCORM 1.2 format.

One license for iSpring Presenter is available for purchase through VelocityEHS as an add-on option. You can use this authoring tool to convert your PowerPoint presentations into SCORM-format elearning courses, complete with quizzes, that you can upload to Training & Learning. This article provides general instructions on how to do this.

To use iSpring Presenter to create a SCORM course and then upload it to Training & Learning, follow the steps below.

1. 1. Get your license key and links you’ll need to download iSpring Presenter from VelocityEHS. You’ll receive an email that contains this information. 
   2. Follow the instructions to install iSpring Presenter and activate it so it’s ready to use. Be sure to make the correct selection for your 32-bit or 64-bit operating system.
   3. To convert your PowerPoint course to SCORM format, you’ll publish it with iSpring Presenter for an LMS. Be sure to select LMS profile SCORM 1.2. For more about iSpring Presenter, see the iSpring Presenter User Guide.
   4. Once you’ve generated the SCORM file, you can upload it to your Training & Learning account.
