Common Properties

Throughout Operational Risk, you’ll see some common properties, available from the left navigation menu, for many entities (risk worksheets, JSA worksheets, bowties, base controls, performance standards, etc.). Properties provide additional context and supporting documentation.

• • Reviews provides a list of who has reviewed the record, findings/comments, etc. You can add review items here and add attachments/references. Reviews are available for risk assessment and JSA worksheets, bowties, base controls, and performance standards.
  • Approval History provides a log of all approvals and rejections for risk assessment worksheets and JSAs, including the date, comments, reviewer name, and status (Rejected or Approved).
  • Actions lists all action items assigned to responsible parties for a risk assessment worksheet or bowtie. The assignee will see the action on their To-Do list.
  • Attachments, such as documents, images, videos, and links, can be added to most entities in the system.
  • Notifications provides a list of all notifications sent in relation to a risk assessment worksheet, bowtie, or action item. The system sends notifications to responsible parties when something requires their attention or for informational purposes, for example, when an item is overdue, or when a status changes.
  • Change Tracking provides either a simple list of changes made to the record (for simple entities like causes, controls, base controls, and actions) or an option to download an Excel spreadsheet that lists the changes (for more complex entities like risk assessment worksheets, bowties, JSAs, and performance standards).
