Publish a JSA

This article describes how to publish a completed Job Safety Analysis in the Operational Risk solution.

Publishing is the last step in the Operational Risk JSA process. At this point, the JSA has been reviewed and approved by the designated JSA Reviewer, actions have been completed, and it is considered final. When the designated Coordinator publishes the JSA, its status changes to Published and no further changes are allowed.

The Coordinator will find a notification on the To-Do List that an approved JSA is ready for publishing. To publish the JSA, select Actions > Publish JSA at the top of the page.

Published JSAs are considered active or “live” in the system and will contribute to the data for active risks in the Dashboard.
