Copy a JSA

This article describes how to copy a Job Safety Analysis in the Operational Risk solution.

You may occasionally find it useful to create a new JSA from an existing one to save time. For example, if you’ve completed a JSA for an Equipment Inspection job at facility A and that job, or a similar one, also exists at facility B, you can copy the Equipment Inspection JSA to create a similar one for facility B, and then use it to conduct your assessment, rather than starting from scratch.

Or, if it’s time to re-review a job but you’d like to keep a record of the original JSA, you might create a copy of the published JSA and then use it to perform the re-review. This way, you’ll retain both records in the system.

To copy a JSA, select Duplicate To… from the ellipsis menu options for the JSA on the Job Safety Analysis page.

Select the location to which you want to copy the JSA.

You’ll see the copied JSA immediately in the location you chose.
