JSA Notifications

Email notifications can be sent automatically in response to certain events that occur during the Standard Job Safety Analysis JSA, Aspects and Impacts, or HAZOP processes. For example, you may want to send a notification when an analysis has been submitted for review, or when the review phase is complete. As an administrator, you can add, view, edit, and delete JSA notifications by location.

Refer to the JSA Notification Triggers and Email Contents document to help you understand the contents of the notifications available to use and the events that trigger their distribution.

To set up a new notification, follow these steps:

1. 1. From the Navigation menu, select Operational Risk > Standard Job Safety Analysis > Admin Settings > Notifications. Select Add New at the top of the Notifications page.
      
   2. Define the notification:
       
      • Indicate who should receive this type of notification: select Role to include all individuals with that particular role, or enter the Name of a specific person.
      • Select the change request Category that the notification applies to.
      • Select the event, or Trigger, that will send the notification. 
   3. Select Save to save the notification. The notification is now active.

Other options:

• • To edit a notification, select the pencil icon next to it on the Notifications page. Edits apply only to notifications that will occur in the future. 
  • To delete a notification, select the X next to it.
