Managing Access Controls

Permissions can be assigned by group or by individual user, in combination with roles, via access controls. By this association, users/groups inherit the permissions that are assigned to the roles. Access controls are Location-specific to determine who can do what for that particular Location.

To add a new access control

• • From the menu, select Security > Access Controls.
  • Select the Add button.
    
  • Select one or more Roles and one or more Users and/or Groups to grant them the permissions defined for that role.

    To remove a selected role, user, or group, choose the “x” next to the name.
    

  • Save the new access control.

To delete an access control

To delete an access control, select Delete from the ellipsis menu. To delete multiple access controls at once, select them and choose Delete Selected.
