Generating an Ad Hoc Verification Activity

Verification initiation using the Operational Risk mobile app allows you to create ad hoc verification activities on the go so that you can verify various base controls and major accident events without relying on the system administrator to create and manage this process.

Prior to creating an ad hoc verification activity in the mobile app, the following must be established in the web version and assigned to the location:

• • Base control
  • Performance standard
  • Verification template

In the mobile app, you’ll need to select a location (in which to create the verification) and a base control or major accident event (for which to perform the verification).

To use the verification initiation functionality, select the + icon at the bottom right of your list of verifications in the mobile app.

Review the Introduction and select the Next button to continue.

Select a location (register) from the list in which to create the new verification activity, and then select Next.

Select the verification type you want to perform, and then select Next.

You’ll see a list of base controls or major accident events (based on what was selected previously). Select an item for which to perform the verification. Select Next.

Complete the required fields, including the Name and Due Date. Then Generate the new verification. The new activity displays when created.
