This article describes how to initiate a follow-up review for a completed Job Safety Analysis in the Operational Risk solution.
Regular, periodic (typically annual or bi-annual) review of a JSA is advised to ensure that it remains current and that procedures within it continue to be followed as they are documented. Anytime a new job is created or an existing job/equipment/process changes is a good time for a repeat JSA.
The Re-review Date for a JSA (on the JSA Properties tab) dictates when a re-review should take place. The JSA Coordinator will see an item on their To-Do List when a published JSA reaches its re-review date, indicating it’s time to take another look.
The Coordinator may reopen the published JSA by selecting Revert to Draft from the Workflow Actions menu, and then proceed to update it.
Or, to keep a record of the original JSA, the Coordinator may make a copy of the published JSA, and then use that record to conduct the re-review. This way, both records are retained in the system.
