Approve or Reject a JSA

This article describes how to approve or reject a Job Safety Analysis in the Operational Risk solution. You can view a log of approvals/rejections under the JSA Approval History tab.

Designated Reviewers (in the JSA Properties) can approve or reject the JSA from a separate option at the top of the page: Actions > Review JSA.

To approve, select the Approve button; the status updates to Approved and the JSA Coordinator will receive a To-Do List notification that it’s ready for publishing.

To reject, select the Reject button and provide a reason for the rejection in the Comments field. Select Send to notify the Coordinator. The status reverts to In-Progress.
