System Requirements: Industrial Ergonomics on Accelerate

Looking for Office Ergonomics system requirements? 

Here are the system requirements for using the VelocityEHS Industrial Ergonomics software. If you’re unsure if your computer is compatible, please check with your IT staff to ensure that your computer is equipped with the appropriate tools.

Browser Requirements

The following browsers are supported:

• • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari

Note:  While Internet Explorer (including IE11) may still work as a web browser, it is no longer supported due to security and functionality concerns. Anyone using Internet Explorer will not be able to take advantage of all the benefits offered by VelocityEHS.

If you’re having difficulty with your browser, try the following:

• • Refresh your browser cache using Ctrl + Shift + Delete > Delete Data (Windows), or Command + R (Mac)
  • Update browser to the most recent version

Network Requirements

Confirm your network meets the minimum bandwidth requirements.

Minimum

• • Upload speed: greater than 1 Mbps
  • Download speed: greater than 4 Mbps

Recommended

• • Upload speed: greater than 3 Mbps
  • Download Speed: greater than 10 Mbps

Media Requirements

When uploading media files, confirm that they meet the following requirements:

Photos

• • Size: up to 5 MB
  • Format: JPEG, GIF, or PNG

Videos

• • Size: up to 500 MB
  • Format: MP4 or MOV

Motion Capture Video

• • Minimum resolution 720p (1280×720)
  • Maximum resolution 4K/UHD (ultra high definition, 3840×2160))
  • Format: MP4 or MOV
  • 30 frames per second

If you’re having difficulty uploading your file, try the following:

• • Do not manually convert from MOV to MP4
  • Ensure the subject remains in the frame
  • Avoid abrupt camera movement
