Location Management

Locations (“sites” in ESuite) are generally physical locations that are required to report environmental compliance issues.

Add a location

1. From the ESuite Navigation Menu, select Sites > Site Information.
2. From the toolbar, select New Record.
3. Complete the site information fields: fields in red are required.
4. Select the disc icon from the toolbar to save the new location.

Note: A location must be added to the Corporate Hierarchy to be used in the application.

Add a location to the Corporate Hierarchy

1. From the ESuite Navigation Menu, select Admin > Corporate Hierarchy.
2. Find the location you want to add. If you are looking for a new location, select Show Unassigned Sites Only to narrow the list to locations not already in the hierarchy.
3. Select the existing branch of the hierarchy where you would like to add the new location, and then select the newly created location.
4. Select the << button to add the site to the location.
   

Location filtering

When working with many locations, it may be beneficial to limit the locations you see by applying a site filter. This filter applies to the entire ESuite solution.

1. From the ESuite Navigation Menu, select Sites > Set Site Filter.
2. Select the location(s) you want to include. Note that when selecting a folder, all sub-items (locations and sub-folders) are also selected.
3. Select Apply Filter.

Note: To see the entire hierarchy, choose Select All Sites > Apply Filter.
