Dashboard Administration

The Dashboard Administration feature allows administrators to:

• • Design, manage, and publish dashboards for specific roles at specified locations.
  • Streamline the sharing of information and enable top-down communication.
  • Save users time by managing dashboards on their behalf.

Once dashboards are published, they become visible to users with the specified role and location. Any updates made will automatically be visible to all users with access.

Creating or Editing a Dashboard

1. 1. Go to Admin Settings > EHS Administration > Dashboard Administration.
   2. Select the Role and Location where the dashboard will apply.
   3. Enable creation of new dashboards by selecting the checkbox.
   4. If active dashboards exist for the selected role and location, they will display. Note: Only one dashboard can exist per role, per location.
   5. Select the dashboard to edit or select the location to create a blank new one from scratch. Newly created dashboards will remain in Draft status until published.
   6. Set the Objective of the dashboard and choose the Layout template.
   7. Select Add Webparts to begin building the dashboard.

Building a Dashboard

1. 1. Use the Catalog dropdown on the right side of the page to locate webparts. Use the search box to filter results.
   2. Drag and drop webparts onto the dashboard in the desired locations.
   3. To configure the webpart parameters, select the options menu at the top right of the webpart. Update the parameters or select Remove Webpart to remove it from the dashboard.
   4. To add more webparts, select the Catalog dropdown to reopen the catalog.
   5. To rearrange webparts, drag and drop them into the desired position.
   6. To clear all webparts and start fresh, select Options > Remove All Webparts.
   7. For the dashboard to be active, select Options > Publish.

Publishing, Deactivating, and Deleting a Dashboard

• • To make the dashboard visible to the specified role and location, select Options > Publish. All users with access to that role/location will see the dashboard.
  • To deactivate a published dashboard, select Options > Make Inactive. Users will no longer see the dashboard, but it remains accessible to administrators in Draft status and can be republished.
  • To permanently delete a dashboard, select Options > Delete. This action cannot be undone. Administrators can create a new dashboard for the role and location if needed.
