Admin Settings – Notifications and Recycling Bin

The Notifications and Recycling Bin features allow you to manage how users are notified about action items and provide access to deleted action items for tracking or recovery purposes. Deleted action items remain in the Recycling Bin for record-keeping until permanently removed by an administrator.

Notification Setup

The platform comes with a set of default action item notifications. You can view these notifications, which detail:

• • Recipients (by role or name)
  • Filters for the notification
  • Trigger events
  • Conditional day delays (available for specific triggers)

To configure notifications:

1. 1. Use the location tree on the left side of the notifications page to select the location for the notification. The rule will apply to the chosen location and its child levels (sub-locations).
   2. Click Add New at the top of the screen.
   3. Choose the recipient by platform role or name. For multiple recipients, use the plus sign to add more.
   4. If the notification applies to a specific capability, select it from the Category dropdown. To apply it universally, leave this blank.
   5. Select a trigger for the notification and click Save.

Your configured notification will now appear in the list when the corresponding location is selected.

To edit an existing notification, click the pencil icon. To delete a notification, click the X in a circle.

Recycle Bin

The Recycle Bin provides access to manage deleted action items effectively.

• Items in the Recycling Bin are listed by Last Edited Date by default. You can sort items by selecting any column title.
• To remove an item permanently, select the X in a circle next to it.
• To restore an action item, select the arrows in a circle icon. The action item will reappear in the action list with an Open status, ready for reassignment or updates.
