Action Management Statuses and Functions

Managing action items effectively is essential for maintaining accountability and ensuring progress.

Action item statuses include the following:

• • A Draft is an unassigned action item in which you can edit the action’s information and add or update attachments and progress notes.
  • When an action item is Assigned, it is given to a specific user (or users) designated as Assigned to or Delegated to (these can be the same or different individuals). These users can update progress notes and upload attachments to document their progress, and then mark the action as Completed.
  • In the Completed status, all details, including progress notes and attachments, are finalized and viewable. No further edits can be made.
  • When a Completed action item requires additional updates, it can be Reopened. This changes its status back to Assigned.
  • Action items in Draft or Assigned status can be Deleted, permanently removing them from the platform.
